Deepavali

Deepavali, also known as the Festival of Lights, is one of the most celebrated Hindu festivals in Markapuram District. The festival symbolizes the victory of good over evil, light over darkness, and knowledge over ignorance. Homes, temples, markets, and public places are beautifully decorated with oil lamps (diyas), colorful rangoli designs, flowers, and decorative lights, creating a festive atmosphere throughout the district.
